Sales Manager
Job Summary
The Sales Manager drives revenue growth across First Environmental’s core service lines: Industrial Cleaning and Abatement Services. This role will focus on executing strategies for market expansion, sales force management, and improving operational efficiency through CRM optimization, training, and collaboration with internal teams.
Requirements
- Have an acceptable past work history.
- Have a minimum of 3 years related industrial or environmental sales experience
- Experience prospecting for customers and formulating plans to acquire those accounts
- Experience developing and leading a sales team
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Have an acceptable security background record.
- Have/maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
Responsibilities
Revenue Growth Strategy
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth in Industrial Cleaning and Abatement.
Plan for market expansion, identify challenges, and anticipate obstacles impacting growth.
Explore new revenue streams to diversify income.
Set clear milestones, targets, and timelines for successful execution.
Collaborate with operational leadership to ensure proper staffing and equipment to meet objectives.
Sales Force Management
Oversee the sales team to ensure they meet or exceed revenue targets.
Assist in setting annual sales goals for reps and territories.
Advise senior management on the recruitment of sales talent and lead recruitment efforts.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive Performance Management Cycle for sales reps.
Implement a solutions-based sales strategy that aligns with First Environmental’s unique value propositions.
CRM/Profiler Development & Management
Provide recommendations for optimizing First Environmental’s CRM/Order Tracking Software (Profiler) to improve efficiency.
Ensure CRM data is consistently updated in real-time to support sales and operational goals.
Sales Training & Development
Deliver training programs for all employees impacting revenue, including sales reps, and field supervisors.
Create ongoing coaching opportunities through email, newsletters, “shop talks”, and formal sales/leadership meetings.
Market Share & Territory Expansion
Develop strategies to increase market share and brand presence in assigned territories.
Optimize equipment and personnel utilization to support business objectives.
Identify new market segments for growth and assess existing services for profitability improvements.
Strengthen First Environmental’s reputation within the industry.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Lead the development and execution of First Environmental’s marketing strategy to increase market share.
Ensure marketing plans incorporate a combination of sales strategies, digital marketing, and industry-specific channels.
